Are you a natural when it comes to engaging people’s interest and developing lasting relationships with them? Can you tell a story and advocate for a cause both through conversation and in the written word? Do you get a buzz from being creative and working as part of a dynamic team?
As our Supporter Relations Manager you will be responsible for leading the UK fundraising activity for Viva’s global work with vulnerable children, with a specific focus on major donors, churches and regular individual donors.
You will also provide support to the CEO, who manages the relationship with the top global individual donors, and our international fundraisers where there is an overlap in strategies or resources.
As such, it is crucial that you have proven experience of developing relationships with people from all walks of life, including organisation leaders. You will be an excellent communicator and a natural storyteller who listens well and can adjust a narrative with integrity to effectively engage a potential donor. We’ll require you to be creative in developing material for churches and confident to speak on behalf of Viva at services and events.
You will have strong administrative skills and a proven ability to manage a dynamic workload effectively together with experience of soliciting four-figure gifts and deliver an annual income target. You will be a team player, yet able to work independently, be well-organised and responsive to all forms of communication.
Are you up for this new challenge with a charity that is changing children’s lives around the world?
